Position Overview:
Rawbite is seeking a skilled and experienced Danish-speaking Production & Supply Planner to oversee our production and purchasing operations in Bagsvaerd. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in production as well as planning and procurement processes, while also fostering a positive and collaborative team environment. With the production team looking up to you for guidance and support, you will play a key role in driving success and innovation in our production department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead production processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining standards of product quality and safety.
- Develop and execute production planning strategies to meet demand forecasts and optimize production efficiency, while minimizing waste and downtime.
- Manage contracts for raw materials and packaging, including call-offs and procurement activities, to ensure timely availability of materials for production.
- Make purchases of equipment and materials within the approved budget, in coordination with the Logistics Team, to support production needs.
- Provide support to the Quality Manager and production team lead as needed, collaborating closely to address any quality or operational challenges.
- End to end supplier process, including onboarding new suppliers, as well as incoming goods quality assurance and maintaining supplier KPIs.
- Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and dedication to excellence in all aspects of production management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Native or business-fluent in Danish, as well as fluent in English: management language is English, as our CEO is German.
- Proven experience in production & supply planning within the food or manufacturing industry, with a track record of success in driving operational excellence and quality improvement initiatives.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality management systems, and regulatory requirements. Experience in HACCP analysis desired, but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills towards the production team as well as in supplier management: our environment of organic raw material purchasing means building up and managing supplier relations for the long run.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively, while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to identify opportunities for process optimization and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
